Women Issues

M.Th. Missiology · Source syllabus with original formative learning enrichment

Course description

A study of the issues women face in fulfilling her role in her mission in the kingdom of God. These will be studied from a theological, social, feminist and historical perspective.

Course objectives

The purpose of this course is to help the students to understand different issues women face theologically, socially and historically and in the modem era in relation to her mission in the kingdom of God. The course aims at introducing the students to different writings of different views and approaches in relation to women's issues including feminist approaches and to help them to arrive at their own reasonable approach. The course also wants to bring out the long neglected contribution of women in the mission fields from western and native origin.
