An orientation to the varied dimensions of starting new churches. Applies basic principles and procedures of church growth to both the world mission and local church situations. To clearly identify the major challenges and incentives for church planting and the impact these have upon the church planter.
Students should be able to develop a comprehensive church planting strategy that would address the needs of a new congregation through its various phases of inception and growth that should.
To help prepare the student for effective leadership for the task of multiplication of believers and churches in today's changing world. Students will be qualified to serve well in many tasks to which missionaries, pastors, educators, and other church leaders are called.
To equip the student with the classical principles, and some of the newer insights, discovered by Church Growth.
